In a bid to raise awareness of the plight of internally displaced persons in Nigeria, music legend and African icon 2Baba, yesterday, July 18, 2017 visited an IDP camp in Ngala/Gamboru in Borno State to support the work of UNHCR in the protection of  (IDPs) and refugee returnees to Nigeria's north east.

During his visit, he was also awarded a Humanitarian award by Brigadier General Ochayi. He is the first musician to receive the award.

Using his resources and popularity 2Baba is bringing attention and raising funds to assist millions of Nigerians who are currently living in unsuitable conditions in several IDP camps across the country.
